A modern religious Festival in which contemporary design joins folk beliefs.

迎六月廿四
大溪全區總動員、串連最多社群的重要節慶，即是桃園市登錄無形文化資產「大溪普濟堂關聖帝君聖誕慶典」。每年農曆六月廿四誕辰期間，在地百業結合信仰熱忱在這天達到沸騰，是大溪人共同的記憶、最美的文化風景，是當前少有的地方認同與民俗號召，是大溪人的第二個過年。  

「大溪大禧」一場跨越當代設計與民俗信仰的城市祭典  
今年以「大溪大禧」之名，圍繞著大溪迎六月廿四遶境文化為基礎，拉出為期三週的前祭慶典，並加入跨領域設計師與藝術家前進大溪與宗教文化媒合，從傳統文化中進行採集與創作，引領大眾與神同遊山城古厝，結合廟會、光影、音樂、市集、劇場，和大溪人同慶大禧，在跨越古今的光影聲響中遇見老城裡的當代祭典。

Based on the traditional ceremonies celebrating the birthday of "Lord Guan" (Guān Gōng) in Daxi, from 14th of July till 5th of Aug,the three-week long modern festival named “Daxi Daxi” is developed as the pre-celebration and a modern take on the ancient tradition. Creators from various fields join forces to modernize all aspects of the traditional parade. Digital Arts, electronic music, maker’s market and theaters are introduced to the religious event to create a vibrant festival that is appealing to all ages and backgrounds. One could easily enjoy the festival with the locals in this gorgeous historic city.
